Onasadhya – Cancelled

Dear Guests,

We know that many of you having been enquiring about our annual Onam celebrations (Onasadhya) and while we are delighted to hear the enthusiasm for the event, we have made a difficult decision to cancel the event this year. With the rising COVID cases in India especially in our home state of Kerala where the Onam is celebrated mainly, we don’t feel it is appropriate to celebrate as our nation suffers. Onam celebrated the richness of Kerala culture and our gratitude for a great harvest but this is not the case for the majority of Keralite this year. Many people have been thrown into extreme difficulty due to illness or loss of jobs with very little support from the government. We stand in solidarity with them hoping the crisis dwindles and pressuring the government to offer better support. We encourage our guests to do the same and offer your thoughts and prayers for the cause.
